Global Organic Textile Standard

What does it actually mean?

Organic cotton is only the beginning. GOTS follows what happens next, as the cotton is turned into fabric and clothing.

It sets rules around things like chemicals, wastewater, working conditions and how workers are treated.

In simple terms: it helps us check that "organic" doesn't stop at the cotton field.

Fairtrade Textile Standard

What does it actually mean?

Fairtrade focuses heavily on the people behind the product.

Its standards cover things like pay, working hours, health and safety, discrimination and workers' rights.

In simple terms: the people making clothing matter just as much as the clothing itself.

Standard 100

What does it actually mean?

This one's about what ends up against your skin.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 tests the different parts of a product for a long list of substances that could be harmful to human health.

In simple terms: it's another check on what's actually in the clothes you're wearing.

Regenerative Organic Certified®

Regenerative Organic Alliance

What does it actually mean?

Regenerative Organic Certified® looks beyond simply growing something organically.

Its standards also cover soil health, animal welfare and fairness for farmers and workers.

Our clothes are designed in Western Australia and made with certified manufacturing partners in India.

Those certifications aren't just logos. They set standards around things like safe working conditions, fair pay, working hours, worker rights and how people are treated at work.

Because for us, knowing where our clothes are made also means caring about the people who make them.

And sometimes, you learn the most when something goes wrong.

Vanessa tells the story of a local emergency that affected the community around the factory. While other factories continued operating, our manufacturing partner sent its team home to be with their families, then let customers know their orders might be delayed.

That's exactly the kind of decision we want the people making our clothes to make.

Are we perfectly sustainable? No. And we'll keep working at it.

We're a clothing company. Making new things has an impact. We won't pretend otherwise.
