STAPLE Co is an Australian clothing label specialising in premium organic cotton essentials. Ethically made and locally curated, every piece is designed with intention - minimal, versatile, and built to last. We believe in seasonless staples that feel good, wear well, and stay in your wardrobe for years.

Founded by Vanessa with the help of her family, STAPLE Co was created out of a love of quality staples - a perfect t-shirt, shorts, trackies and a jumper.

With a background in education and journalism, Vanessa’s love of learning sparked a deep interest in ethically and sustainably sourced clothing made from natural and regenerative fibres. From here, STAPLE Co grew.

Founded in Perth, the brand embodies a commitment to ethical production, transparent sourcing, and timeless style.

Each piece is made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, chosen for its softness, breathability, and minimal environmental footprint. Our mission is to make sustainable fashion accessible, stylish, and built for everyday wear.

Our main partner is based in Noida, Utter Pradesh, India while we also curate a small selection of organic cotton staples from Tiruppur, India and Bangladesh. All of our partners have ethical and sustainable certifications including:

Fairtrade Cotton
Fairtrade cotton ensures that all cotton farmers receive the Fairtrade Minimum Price and the Fairtrade Premium.

Fair Trade USA
Fair Trade USA audits ensure that working conditions are safe, the environment is protected and workers receive fair pay.

Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)
The world leading textile processing standard for organic fibres and ecological impact. This ensures all fibres are grown without any synthetic pesticides and are sustainably produced from farming, harvest, and textile processing. 

Fair Wear Foundation
Fair Wear Foundation is an independent, non-profit organisation that works to improve conditions for workers in garment factories. 

Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI)
BSCI audits ensure accountability for supply chains that all labour is safe, fair, and free from discrimination and forced labour or labour that does not provide sufficient employee bargaining.

Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP)
WRAP demonstrates that the facilities obey the laws of the country, treats workers with dignity and respect, and are conscious of the impact the facility has on the environment.
